2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Power and Performance Details

All the 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedans are considered mild-hybrid thanks to the starter generator that pairs with the engines. All also have automatic nine-speed transmissions. E 350 models have standard rear-wheel drive, while the 4MATIC® models have standard all-wheel drive.

The E 350 and E 350 4MATIC® models in our James Motor Company inventory have 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engines with 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. A short burst enhancement temporarily increases the horsepower to 275 and the pound-feet of torque to 443.

The E 450 4MATIC® models have 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engines that deliver 375 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The short burst feature increases the horsepower to 395 and the pound-feet of torque to 517.

Potential new owners near the Mount Airy area can also add the Technology Package that includes a continuously adjustable air suspension with rear-axle steering capability. The package provides the Mercedes-Benz E-Class with greater maneuverability and agility on the road and when turning.

2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Exterior and Interior Design

The newly designed 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedans are slightly longer and wider than previous models, giving back-seat passengers more room and enlarging the trunk to 19 cubic feet of space. Exteriors feature classic, smooth curves to create an overall elegant appearance. Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan front ends boast hexagonal polished chrome mesh grilles having slightly rounded edges and bear the Mercedes-Benz emblem.

A black frame blends the grille on either side with angular LED headlights and daytime running lights. At the rear, the renovated taillights contain a triple-pointed star graphic. Subtly sculpted bumpers grace the lower body front and back. Side views reveal an aerodynamic profile. A sharp line travels over each high-cut wheel well. The door panels sit flush with the body.

Our five-passenger E 350 models have synthetic leather upholstery and power-adjustable front seats. The windows and door locks are controlled electronically. Stepping up to the E 350 4MATIC® level adds an electronically powered panoramic sunroof to enhance exterior views while allowing for more natural light. The steering wheel gains leather upholstery. Nappa leather upholstery, wood accents, and heated rear seats are options at all levels near Advance.

2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Technological Amenities

Drivers get a 12.3-inch digital instrument display. The latest 2024 models also feature an expansive super glass screen that spans the remaining dashboard space and contains a 14.4-inch infotainment system touchscreen and an optional 12.3-inch passenger touchscreen. The display is situated not to distract the driver's vision.

The new MBUX infotainment system and passenger screens contain a central computer and intelligence module for optimal functionality. The units allow occupants to automate cabin comfort settings and pair them with specific ambient light colors.
